nature, which emphasises immaterial values over culturally specific symbols. The fundamental concept is the same in all three languages: the most valuable things in life don't cost money. The analysis shows that indirect translation has a significant impact on the structural and semantic form of English proverbs in Uzbek. Proverbs that have universal meaning tend to preserve their structure and semantics, while culturally specific proverbs are often substituted metaphorically through the intermediary language. Translating proverbs challenges translators to transmit not just words but the spirit behind them. Thorough analysis of the English and Uzbek proverbs mediated by Russian demonstrates that languages differ greatly in structure and worldviews, and translation can be a bridge to share human values expressed in these traditional sayings.
