Publication Ethics

Young Scientists Forum: New Ideas for New Uzbekistan follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and applies high publication-ethics standards to all parties involved.

Author responsibilities

Submit only original, previously unpublished work
Cite all sources used accurately
Disclose any conflicts of interest
Name all co-authors and have their consent for submission
Inform the editorial office of any errors discovered post-publication

Reviewer responsibilities

Maintain confidentiality of the manuscript
Conduct review objectively and without bias
Notify editors of any conflict of interest
Not use unpublished material for personal purposes
Point out inconsistencies, missing references and potential plagiarism

Editorial responsibilities

Make publication decisions based solely on academic merit
Maintain confidentiality of all materials before publication
Ensure fair and unbiased peer review
Investigate claims of misconduct (fabrication, falsification, plagiarism)
Publish corrections or retractions when necessary

Responding to misconduct

When misconduct is identified (plagiarism, data falsification, duplicate publication, ghost authorship), the editorial office follows COPE procedures: investigation, author contact, publication of correction or retraction.
