Peer Review Process
Law, Public Administration and Civil Society applies double-blind peer review. This means the identities of authors and reviewers remain mutually unknown throughout the process.
Stages
- Initial screening (1–3 days) — editorial check for scope, formal requirements, plagiarism (threshold ≥85% originality), ethical compliance
- Reviewer assignment (2–5 days) — at least 2 independent reviewers specialised in the paper's topic
- Review (10–14 days) — assessment using the standard form: originality, methodology, clarity, relevance, ethics
- Editorial decision (3–7 days) — based on reviewer reports: accept / minor revisions / major revisions / reject
- Author revision (if requested, 7–14 days)
- Final editing and publication (3–7 days)
Average cycle from submission to publication: 3–6 weeks.

- Originality and scientific significance
- Methodological soundness
- Correctness of results and conclusions
- Clarity and logical structure
- Completeness and accuracy of references
- Fit with conference scope and format
Confidentiality
The manuscript and the entire review process are strictly confidential. Reviewers must not use any information from the manuscript for their own purposes or share it with third parties.
